Websites for shops
Websites for shops. Through the door, or buying online.
A shop site has two jobs: show what you sell, and how to get it. Online, click and collect, or popping in. Hours, prices and delivery charges, written down.
Free, no card details, and a reply from a person within one working day.
- You see a real design of your homepage before you pay anything
- Live in 7 days from when your payment or deposit lands
- Your Google Business Profile set up or tidied, free

What your customers are looking for
Have you got it, and what does it cost?
Your best sellers with photos and prices on the home page, so people don't have to ring to ask.
When can I have it?
Real cut-off times, like 'order by 1pm, collect from 3pm'. Delivery days and charges. Dates and times, not 'fast delivery'.
Can I trust you with my money?
Clear delivery charges, clear returns and who you are. If you sell online, some of that has to be on the site by law, and we include it.
What we put on the site
Every site starts from a checklist for shops, then changes to fit your business. This is the starting list, before we know the details.
- A 'Shop online' button that goes to your online shop, or 'Call the shop' if you don't sell online
- Your best sellers, with photos, prices including VAT and whether they're in stock
- How to buy, with real cut-off times for collection and delivery
- Today's hours, a map, parking and a contact form
- Delivery charges and your returns rules, in plain words
- Your story, and your own photos of the shop and the stock
What every page is for
Buying. 'Shop online' if you have an online shop, otherwise 'Call the shop'. Directions and click and collect come second.
What we won't write on your site
Unless you can back it up, it doesn't go on.
- 'No refunds' or 'exchange only'
- 'Free delivery' without saying what it costs below the threshold
- 'Only 2 left' unless it comes from your real stock
- 'Handmade' or 'grown here' unless it is
The five pages of a Starter site
This is what a £499 Starter site for shops is made of. Legal pages like privacy come on top and don't count towards the five.
- 1Home
Best sellers, how to buy, today's hours and where you are.
- 2Shop
Your range with prices, or links into your online shop by range.
- 3Visit us
Hours, map, parking, collection and a contact form.
- 4About
Your story and the shop.
- 5Delivery and returns
Costs, dates, cancellation and refund rights.
Which package usually fits
Four fixed prices, paid once. We'll tell you honestly which one suits you, and it's often not the biggest.
One page
Good for a shop that mainly wants people through the door: hours, a map, a few products and a phone number.
Starter
A proper shop page, a visit page and a full delivery and returns page.
Complete
Gives each main range its own page, and adds click and collect and an FAQ that answers what people phone about.
Bespoke
A shop window people remember: film of the shop, products you can turn and zoom, and a look built around your brand.
No VAT to add. Starter is up to five pages and Complete is about ten. Bespoke is priced after a 15-minute call. Every price, in full
Who this covers
The same checklist works for all of these. If your business is close but not listed, it almost certainly fits here too.
- Florists
- Gift and independent shops
- Pet shops
- Bike shops
- Farm shops and delis
- Makers selling online

Your homepage design is free
We design your homepage first and send you a private link. If you like it, we build the rest. If you don't, you pay nothing and that's the end of it.
Once you've approved it, you pay in full or pay a deposit, and the site goes live within 7 days of that landing.
What you get
- Nothing to pay until you've seen your design
- Two rounds of changes to the design
- Hosting free for 12 months, then £15 a month
- A new domain in your name, £13 a year
- Your Google Business Profile set up or tidied, free
We build new websites on a new domain. We don't move existing websites, domains or email.
Questions shops ask
Do you build the online shop itself?
The website links into your online shop for the basket and payment, so card details are handled by the shop platform, never typed into the website. If you need a full shop built from scratch, that's a Bespoke conversation.
I don't sell online. Is a site still worth it?
Yes. People still want to check your hours, see what you stock and find you. A One page or Starter site covers that.
I'm a florist. Can the site take same-day orders?
If you do same-day, the site says so with a real cut-off time. It also says clearly that fresh flowers can't be returned for a change of mind.
Where your customers are
We're in Basildon and build for businesses across Essex and east London. These ten towns each have their own page.
Other sectors
Each one has its own checklist and its own concept design.
