Websites for planned trades

Websites for planned trades. Built to win the quote.

Nobody hires a builder in a panic. They shortlist a few, look at the work, check the credentials and compare quotes. Your site has to win that comparison.

What your customers are looking for

1

They're comparing you with two others

Big jobs get thought about. The firm with clear photos, clear prices and a clear process is the one that gets asked round to survey.

2

They want to see real work near them

Before and after photos of your own local jobs, with the town and how long it took, say more than any paragraph about quality.

3

They're worried about cowboys

Most building trades aren't licensed in the UK, so people look for proof: scheme memberships with numbers, insurance, guarantees and written quotes.

What we put on the site

Every site starts from a checklist for planned trades, then changes to fit your business. This is the starting list, before we know the details.

  • A 'Book a survey' or 'Get a quote' button on every page, with your number next to it
  • Your own projects, with before and after photos, the town and how long each job took
  • Memberships, insurance and guarantees, each one checkable
  • Typical price ranges for each service, and what changes the price
  • Your process step by step: survey, written quote, start date, payments, sign-off
  • A quote form with up to eight short questions, so you know the job before you visit

What every page is for

Getting a survey or a quote booked. A phone call and a callback request come second.

What we won't write on your site

Unless you can back it up, it doesn't go on.

  • 'Fully certified' or 'approved' without the scheme and number
  • 'Fixed price' or 'no hidden costs' without real figures
  • Photos of jobs you didn't do
  • Years of experience you can't show

The five pages of a Starter site

This is what a £499 Starter site for planned trades is made of. Legal pages like privacy come on top and don't count towards the five.

  1. 1
    Home

What you do, where, your best projects and the quote button.

  2. 2
    Services

Each service with what's included, a typical cost range and the paperwork.

  3. 3
    Projects

Your local jobs with before and after photos.

  4. 4
    About and credentials

You, your team, memberships, insurance and guarantees.

  5. 5
    Get a quote

The form, your number and what happens next.

Which package usually fits

Four fixed prices, paid once. We'll tell you honestly which one suits you, and it's often not the biggest.

One page

Fine for a one-trade business, like a decorator or a cleaner, that wants to look real and take quote requests.

£375
Usually the right fit

Starter

Services, projects, credentials and a proper quote page.

£499

Complete

For firms with several big services. Each gets its own page, plus a full case study and a costs guide.

£799

Bespoke

Worth it when the finished room is the product: kitchens, extensions, gardens. Think before and after sliders and a walk-through of a finished job.

from £1,500

No VAT to add. Starter is up to five pages and Complete is about ten. Bespoke is priced after a 15-minute call. Every price, in full

Who this covers

The same checklist works for all of these. If your business is close but not listed, it almost certainly fits here too.

  • Builders
  • Roofers
  • Decorators
  • Landscapers
  • Kitchens and bathrooms
  • Carpenters
  • Cleaners
  • Flooring
  • Plasterers

Electricians who mainly do rewires and EV chargers fit here too. Websites for electricians

Your homepage design is free

We design your homepage first and send you a private link. If you like it, we build the rest. If you don't, you pay nothing and that's the end of it.

Once you've approved it, you pay in full or pay a deposit, and the site goes live within 7 days of that landing.

Questions planned trades ask

Can the quote form ask about the job before I visit?

Yes. Up to eight short questions: the type of job, rough size, postcode, timing, photos and the best time to call. Enough to know whether it's worth the drive.

I don't have many photos of finished jobs.

Start taking them now, on your phone, before and after. A few good local projects are enough to launch with. We won't fill the gaps with stock photos pretending to be your work.

Will I get a page for each town I work in?

On Complete, yes, but only for towns where you've got real projects to show. A page that just swaps the town name helps nobody.

Where your customers are

We're in Basildon and build for businesses across Essex and east London. These ten towns each have their own page.

Each one has its own checklist and its own concept design.
