NHS and private prices, in separate tables. You always get a written plan with costs before treatment starts.
The check-up comes first
A new patient check-up takes 45 minutes and includes X-rays if they’re due. It isn’t taken off later treatment, because it’s a full exam in its own right. Afterwards you get a written treatment plan with costs, and you decide.

A written treatment plan with costs follows your check-up. Prices checked October 2026. NHS charges are set by the government and change each April; we update this page when they do.
Free NHS treatment
You don’t pay NHS dental charges if, when treatment starts, you’re under 18, under 19 and in full-time education, pregnant or had a baby in the last 12 months, or you or your partner get certain benefits. Bring proof to your appointment.
Paying and cancelling
Pay on the day by card or cash. Please give 24 hours’ notice to cancel or move an appointment. For private appointments missed without notice, we may charge £30. We don’t offer finance or payment plans.
